Meet Ike & Jenny
Jenny and Ike are parents of three and "Nonni and Poppi" to 4 boys. Jenny has been an early intervention teacher for over 20 years and both Ike and Jenny have ran their family-owned landscaping, pool installation, and snow removal business since 1991. They love spending time in the outdoors with family!
The LakeShore Stays Story
In early 2020, they purchased Lakeshore Stays as a seasonal park. Almost all units in the park were from the 60's and 70's. Due to pandemic, many seasonal tenants didn't return and Jenny and Ike needed to decide how to move forward with everything that was happening. After a lot of consideration, they decided to clean up one of the older units to possibly use for short-term stays.
What began as a clean-up project ended in what's now referred to as "glamperizing"! They had a blast renovating the unit and learned a lot. They were so excited by the possibilities! Requests to stay in this "glamper" began flooding in - which quickly booked up. Seeing the demand for this kind of stay, they began "glamperizing" more vacant units. In the last 5 years they've renovated a variety of stays and are constantly working to add improvements each year. As of 2025 there are a total of 15 units and 4 RV overnight rentals available and more are in the works. Each unit is unique and additional "unique" stays are to be added in the future!
As Jenny and Ike continue to add and renovate units for short term rental stays, they're also working on improving the park itself - adding additional amenities like on-site washer/dryer options, porches and decks, as well as lakefront improvements like additional docks, and non-motorized boat rentals. An in-ground swimming pool, small playground, and a deck overlooking the lake will be added in the near future! Stay tuned!
